RCB once was bottom of the table but their last two match performance has brought
them to semi final round. Their last match was the highest winning score in Champions
League Twenty20 history ever.
They scored 215 runs hitting a six in the last ball of the innings while a
six was needed replying a mammoth total of 214 runs challenged by their opponent
South Australian Redbacks. Tilakaratne Dilshan, Virat Kohli and last
but certainly not the least wicket keeper batsman Arun Karthik played
incredibly well, may be beyond even their expectation.
So, when they will be meeting another incredible performer NSW, they will be
trying to repeat the performance once again. They can win even when their main
batsman Chris Gayle cannot perform as expected level they have shown
everybody.
Batsmen like Dilshan and Kohli who has just played his best Twenty20 innings are
in good form and with incredible confidence which can be the real threat for NSW
bowlers. When it comes to the bowling of RCB it is bit off colour throughout the
tournament. They might drop spinner Aravind who has been humiliated when he gave
24 runs in 20th over. Other bowlers like Dirk Nannes and their leader Vettori
must try to keep pressing the NSW batsmen so that they cannot make a good score
or snatch the match away from them as they did against defending champions Chennai
Super Kings.
NSW is the inaugural champion of Champions League. So, do know how to go to final
beating big teams. Like their opponent they also played an incredible innings
and it was led by none other than David Warner.
He scored 135 runs while keeping the strike rate almost 200. He will be trying
to repeat it with his opener all rounder Shane Watson. He should be followed
by Smith and their Skipper Simon Katich. They have to play professional cricket
against Vettori and Dirk Nannes otherwise it will be a game over match for them.
Their bowlers must make sure that their opponent cannot take the momentum from
them because once RCB get the momentum they will be desperately trying to repeat
their previous sublime performance.
This match could be the best match of this tournament as their road to semi final
was an incredible journey and they will be trying to make everything extremely
difficult for their opponent.
It is very likely that it will be a battle between the batsmen of the two teams.
Their bowlers may only be needed to complete the stipulated 20 overs. No team
will leave any stone unturned to get a victory and get the golden ticket to the
grand Finale.
