the tour on a high with a win over Scotland and then repeat the dose with the

Bangladesh has had a mixed ODI leg of the tour of UK. They did have a good
result going for them in the series against Bangladesh when they overcame
England in one of the three ODIs, but in the series that they were expected
to win over Ireland, they managed to lose one of the two games.
Of course, due credit must be given to Ireland for that loss, but whether the
Bangladeshis will be able to accept it, is a question-mark.
Having said that, it is the past, and they will now look to overcome the Scottish
side, who had recently entered the final of the WCL Division One tournament.
The good news for Scotland is that they had not been in great form earlier in
the year, but have come back well to beat Afghanistan and other Associate nations,
except Ireland. Bangladesh may prove to be a difficult proposition for the side,
but whether they will be properly turned on for these final encounters of a
long and arduous tour of England remains to be seen.
Scotland will depend on Gavin Hamilton, who has been recalled to the Scottish
side as a frontline batsman. Hamilton has played for England in Test cricket
and was earlier the captain of the Scotland team, but for now, he had decided
not to play cricket. He makes a comeback and that should augur well for the
side. As should the return of Kyle Coetzer and Josh Davey in their side.
For Bangladesh, the good news came in the form of the return to runs of Tamim Iqbal in the previous ODI against Ireland. Iqbal has been their best batsman,
but for some time, he had been struggling for the runs. The other batsmen also
did their bit in the second ODI, but the time is right for them to score bucketful
of runs against the relatively weaker attacks.
Bangladesh did not have a great time with the ball in the first Irish ODI and
that was to do with the conditions. One can safely assume that the conditions
will be no different and make it difficult for the side.
