 The
one-off Twenty20I and the three match ODI series finished. Now it is the time
for the Test cricket, which is the real test for any cricket team. The first test
between Bangladesh and West Indies will be played in October 21, at 3:30
GMT or 9:30 local time in Chittagong.
Bangladesh won the one off Twenty20I, and then they were brutally beaten by the
Caribbean side in the first two ODI matches, but in the third and final ODI match
Bangladesh got something to cheer, they bowled out the tourists only for 61 runs
and got eight wicket victory over them.

So, it is expected that the Test series is not going to be one-way traffic, though
the past records of Bangladesh cricket team in the longest version of the game
is not satisfactory at all. They provided their fans a dream performance in the
third ODI, and they will be trying to do get a good result in the upcoming test
match as well.
They have good spinners like Shakib Al Hasan who will be very keen to
bowl as good as possible against the tourists, but test match is more dependent
on the batsmen. Bangladesh must not hurry very early in the innings; they should
try to build few big partnerships to give a real challenge to the Caribbean
side.
Nazmul Hossain, Rubel Hossain and Shahadat Hossain are in the squad
for the test match and Robiul Islam has been dropped as their Coach Stuart Law
said that they are very unlikely to play three seemers. Not only this Mohammad Ashraful and left arm spinner Abdur Razzak have been ruled out due to bad
form. All-rounder Mahmudullah and fast bowler Shafiul Islam are still not fit
to play. Left arm spinner Elias Sunny has been called up for the test series.
For the Caribbean side everything except the third ODI was perfect. They have
to erase the bad memories of the last match, and should learn from their mistakes.
Still they are far better side than Bangladesh but they have to prove it on the
field otherwise another debacle could happen.
If their key batsmen like Simmons, Samuel and Kieron Pollard can play
their natural game then it would be very difficult for the hosts to stop them
from scoring a massive total. Their pace attacks can be devastating for any
team in the world as they have speed star Kemar Roach.
Though Bangladesh win in the third ODI, but the tourists are still favourite
for the next clash. If Bangladesh want a good result from the upcoming
test match, then they have to play like their previous match or very close to
that match.
