Bangladesh failed to bounce back in their second ODI against West Indies,
and West Indies won the ODI series with one match to spare. So, the third and
the final ODI will be nothing but a formality. Bangladesh only can hope to escape
a white wash by winning the match which seems an impossible task for them at the
moment. Their next meeting will be played in October 18 at 3:00 IST or 9:00 local
time in the port city Chittagong.

Batting first Bangladesh put up a moderate score 220/10, though their start was
not smooth at all, once they were 1/3 and finally managed to escape another humiliation
by the tourists. The next encounter will be a matter of pride for the Bangladeshi
cricketers. They will be trying desperately to escape the shame of white wash
at home. To be honest, to get a win against West Indies, Bangladesh have to play
beyond their limit.
They must do some changes in their line-up. Opener Tamim Iqbal and all
rounder Mohammad Ashraful have been flop in the first two matches, so
they might be dropped. Bangladesh do need a solid start. Their bowlers were
proved venom less in the first two matches even in their home ground.
The wicket of Chittagong will not be a very different track than Dhaka, so they
have to deliver something extra; otherwise they will be smashed all over the park
once again. Last but certainly not the least, their fielding must be upgraded,
missing couple of catches and run out chance of batsman like Samuels will certainly
turn into another defeat.
West Indies do not have anything to lose; all they want is another emphatic victory
over the host, which will give them some mental boost before the test series.
Their batting, bowling and fielding all have been far superior to Bangladesh and
are expected to be the same in the next meeting. All they can improve their bowling
which should have been little bit sharper though it is a sub-continental track.
This is a very young side, so probably nobody will get rest for the test series.
No doubt, West Indies will be the favourite and they will be literally pressure-less
than Bangladesh, and it is very likely that they will win the next match
and give the Bangladeshi Cricketers another humiliation.
