 The encounter between defending champion Chennai Super Kings and Cape Cobras
starts in Chennai, September 28 at 20:00 IST or 14:30 GMT. Chennai Super kings
lose their first match against Mumbai Indians while their opponent Cape Cobras
got a comfortable win against New South Wales Blues. But undoubtedly, both of
them will be playing for a win to get a ticket for the semi final.

their arch rival Mumbai Indians.

They did have full control of the game but one mistake from skipper Dhoni paid
a lot. He missed the chance of stumping Lasith Malinga who single-handedly
brought a victory for Mumbai Indians coming at the later stage of the game.
Chennai have a very good batting line up. They have man in form Michael hussy who scored 81 runs from 57 balls so he will be a key player for their
match against Cape Cobras. Their lower middle order may be the strongest among
all teams. Dhoni, Albie Morkel, and former Mumbai Indian Dwayne Bravo who should
be expecting to put a good show against their opponent.
Chennai must upgrade their bowling attack. Australian Dough Bollinger and South
African Albie Morkel was flop in their match against Mumbai so these two have
to do a lot of work against Cobras otherwise inform Hershel Gibbs will do the
same thing as he did against New South Wales Blues. Though their main focus
would be on R Ashwin and Suresh Raina as it will be a sluggish track
like before.
On the other hand, Cape Cobras is now with full of confidence. They bowled well
and batted even better. In fact they batted superb. Hershel Gibbs has been out
from International Cricket for a long time but he did not look rusty at all.
He played a brilliant innings of 55 runs from 47 balls while he was really
accompanied really well by Richard Levi scoring 43 runs 27 balls. They have
to focus on middle order and lower middle order as they were untested but they
need not worry because JP Duminy and Justin Kemp do not need time to
flourish.
Dale Steyn would be careful as he was badly treated in his first match. He really
knows bowling so he will be in good form very soon. They also have skilled bowler
like Charl Langevelt and skipper Justin Kemp or Justin Ontong can also be instrumental
for them.
No doubt this encounter will be a massive encounter. Like other matches of Champions League Twenty20 2011 it might be decided in the last ball of
the innings. Chennai is very strong at their home. They were only beaten once
in their last nine matches in Chennai and it was against Mumbai Indians. So,
Chennai Super kings will be trying to come back on the winning track
where they really suit but Cape Cobra has a lot of venom to knock them down.
