The Chennai Super Kings will play the Pune warriors India in the 29th game of the Indian Premier League. The game will be a home match for the Super Kings and will be played at the M Chidambaram in Chepauk in Chennai and will see the two sides try and fight it out for a chance to get back their momentum.
The reason why one talks about momentum is because the two sides have both seen
two losses in a row. The Super Kings had started off with a win over the Kolkata
Knight Riders but have since then, lost to the Punjab, Kochi and Mumbai.

They, now, have three losses from five games and will look to make sure that they
can get the things moving in the right direction.
On the other hand, the Pune Warriors started off with two wins. However,
in the last two games, they have fallen away to the wayside; losing to the Mumbai
Indians and the Delhi Daredevils in the process, which also gives them four
points from four games.
The problem that both sides are facing is with the expectations.
Pune have a very strong side but it is more concentrated on their batting.
They have Graeme Smith and Jesse Ryder at the top and there are likes
of Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa going in at the top of the batting,
which means that the top four or five are all capable of doing damage.
Smith's injury has meant that Tim Paine has had to open the innings, which means
that the side is looking to get in someone to do the job of getting the runs quickly.
So far, Paine has struggled to get a move on.
However, it is their bowling which is a real struggle. Alfonso Thomas and Shrikant
Wagh were good to begin with but have fallen away after that and the rest of the
side depends on Rahul Sharma, who is not experienced enough yet.
The side will now look to ensure that they can prop the bowling up and that,
they can do by getting in a new bowler in their line-up. This could be one of
Nathan McCullum or Mitchell Marsh, either of them who could make it to
the line-up depending on the nature of the track.
Chennai will be favourites to make it three wins in the tournament.
