hitter Herschelle Gibbs of South Africa is expected to play a big one. RP Singh, Scott Styris, and newly found talent Pragyan Ojha are expected to run through the batting line up of the Delhi Daredevils.
The Delhi Daredevils on the other hand have been in great nick. The team started
its IPL campaign with a comfortable 9 wicket victory against the Rajasthan Royals.
The team has a strong and very formidable batting line up and with bowling talents
like Glen McGrath, Fervez Maharoof and Daniel Vettori, the team looks set to
go the distance in this first edition of the Indian Premier League. The team
comprises of some quality batsman including the captain Virender Sehwag, South
African AB de Villiers, Gautam Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan, and the highly talented
and skilled Mithun Manas. The team is riding high on the victory that it achieved
in its very first match. The pundits of the game now predict a smooth journey
