 The
33rd game of the Indian Premier League will be played between the Delhi
Daredevils and the Kolkata Knight Riders. This is the home game for the Delhi
Daredevils and hence, the game will be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla.
The Delhi Daredevils have not had the best of times in the tournament
so far. they have lost four out of the six matches that they have played in
and that means that the side will look to ensure that they can get going in
this game before they fall so far behind that they don't even have an outside
chance of making it through to the next round.

On the other hand, the Kolkata Knight Riders will need to ensure that they
can get back to the winning track as well. After winning three games in a row,
they have now lost two in a row, one thanks to some poor captaincy and strategy
in terms of selection the team.
For some reason beyond the known, the Knight Riders decided to leave out Brett Lee for the previous game and that is some thing that the side will look
to change in this game.
The batting will be a key to both the teams' fortunes. Delhi Daredevils have
Dave Warner and Virender Sehwag at the start of the innings but the problem
is that they have not been consistent. The other problem is that their middle
order is a trifle weak. They have a Venugopal Rao who can tonk the ball every
now and then but the rest of the players have not been able to do the job too
well currently.
Irfan Pathan's form is a big issue. He has neither bowled nor batted well and
in the last game against the Royal Challengers, he dropped a simple catch to
allow the side to make a comeback and win the game.
On the other hand, the Kolkata Knight Riders have had a break and will
look to ensure that they have had rested well in that break. They will look
much more refreshed than their opponents and that is the best part about the
format.
The bowling will be the key to the chances of Kolkata. They will need the likes
of Lee and Iqbal Abdulla to ensure that they can restrict the opponents
or take the wickets while the Daredevils will look to play them out.
