 The two in-form sides will clash with each other on Monday in the fifth season
of the Indian Premier League with one side set to lose its winning streak.
Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders are the current table-toppers
and both have won their last four matches on the trot.
Delhi Daredevils have shown signs of the intimidating team they were
in the earlier seasons of IPL with a strong showing thus far. With eight wins
from ten matches, there is little to doubt their ability to reach the semi-finals.

They were ruthless in their last match as well - a six-wicket win over Rajasthan
Royals with 28 balls to spare. Virender Sehwag, the captain, has been in sublime
form but it will be Kevin Pietersen's shoes that will be hard to fill after
the swashbuckling England star returned home for the English summer. Ross Taylor could be expected to take more responsibility while David Warner would be keen to get his chance as well. Morne Morkel holds the key with the
ball having picked up 19 wickets so far.
Kolkata Knight Riders have also turned the tide with four wins, including a seven-run
win against Pune Warriors on Saturday. They now have 15 points from 11 matches
and also look confident of reaching the last four.
Against Pune Warriors, Gautam Gambhir and Brendon McCullum starred with
the bat but, worryingly for them, they managed to score only 52 runs from the
last ten overs after racing to 98-0 in the first half.
The middle-order has shown signs of struggle with Yusuf Pathan averaging
under eight runs per innings. The bowlers did their job fairly well with Marchant
de Lange making an impressive comeback while Sunil Narine was at his usual best.
The match will be played in Delhi, starting at 8.00pm. In their earlier meeting
in Kolkata, Daredevils won a rain-shortened match with ease.
