 At the contrasting ends of the points table, Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers will come head to head for their second meeting of the season as action continues in the fifth season of the Indian Premier League on Thursday.
Delhi Daredevils suffered a rare defeat when they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders
on Monday, with the loss causing them to lose the top spot on the points table.
However, they can go top of the table yet again should they win against Chargers.

Against Knight Riders, they scored a total of 153 that was always going to
be tough to defend. They lost with eight balls remaining, but would have been
thankful for a reality check given to them. The batsmen were guilty of getting
in and throwing their wickets away as four batsmen crossed the 20-run mark but
only Irfan Pathan had an imposing impact.
Ross Taylor has big shoes to fill with Kevin Pietersen gone and he struggled
in the last outing.
Deccan Chargers have endured a wretched run in the season and their misery was
summed up in the manner in which they lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.
They further lost to Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday, and are out of the running for
the playoffs.
With only pride to play for, they will be hoping to express themselves freely.
The bowlers once again had a troubled time containing the runs with only Rusty
Theron ending up with respectable figures. Dale Steyn was dropped after
his shocking 22-run over in the preceding match.
The batsmen have also not had much to boast of, excluding Shikhar Dhawan
and Cameron White who have both looked in reasonable touch, though they failed
in the last match.
The match will be played in Hyderabad, the home ground for Deccan Chargers.
