The Indian side will play in the second Test match of the three-match series against
West Indies on June 28. This will be a five-day match that will last till
the July 2 if the pitch allows it to. In the first Test match, there were only
four days that were possible, which meant that the sides were left with a thrilling
but short Test match.
The second Test match will be played at Bridgetown in Barbados, which means that
the pitch will become even more difficult to bat on. there will be bounce in the
track and that should mean that the two sides could look at strengthening their
pace bowling attack.

Both the sides have issues with their batting but the bowling looks good enough.
For the Indians, the opening pair hasn't done too well in the series and it
was only Rahul Dravid and to a lesser extent, Suresh Raina, who
got going with the bat. All the rest, including VVS Laxman will need to ensure
that they can get going with their batting and get the Indians to a big enough
score.
On the other hand, the West Indies batting has a chronicle issue. They keep getting
starts but keep falling apart as was even seen in the ODIs. None of the batsmen
have been able to get going and that has meant that they have not been able to
get the runs.
The Indians could be looking to make one change to their bowling. There is a surety
that Munaf Patel will come into the side, but what remains to be seen is who will
be replace. Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma, both, did not have a great game but
Ishant had a slightly better one than Mishra. That, to go with the fact that the
pitch will help could mean that Ishant Sharma will be getting his chance in the
playing eleven and Mishra could be asked to sit out. Harbhajan Singh will be the
side's all-rounder, who will look to continue in his merry ways batting.
For the West Indies, the issue with the bowling is that with the presence of
Darren Sammy, who occupies a place. He has taken wickets in the past
but the issue is that he can be easily negotiated.
India will be favourites to win this game as well.
