 The 45th game of the IPL will have the Mumbai Indians go to Jaipur to play the
Rajasthan Royals. The Royals have six wins and are currently on 12 points,
but they have two more games than the Mumbai Indians who have 14 points.
The Mumbai side struggled to cope up with the heat in the previous game as
they succumbed after Sachin Tendulkar retired hurt. This is the one factor that
many of the oppositions would have taken note of, and would look to exploit
as the things get more sticky at the end of the tournament. while Mumbai know
that they need to win only one more game to get through to the semi-finals,
they will also realise that the most important thing whilst going into the semi-finals
is the momentum that they will carry and that is the reason why they will look
to give it all.

do and expect the rest of them to come good, on the occasions that are chasing
the target. We have seen the likes of Saurabh Tiwary and Ambati Rayadu
perform their bit and more, while batting first but it has been difficult for
the Mumbai Indians whilst chasing without assistance from Tendulkar.
The bowling in the previous game looked shorn of quality when they lost on
the services of Zaheer Khan. One is not too sure about why Zaheer Khan
did not play the previous game, but if he was just being rested, then one feels
that he needs to come back for this game.
The Rajasthan Royals are on a roll. They beat the Deccan Chargers in a game
that they should have lost, thanks mainly due to their captain Shane Warne.
Then, they crushed Punjab in the next game, thanks to some gritty performances
by the youngster Aditya Dole and their opener Michael Lumb. What would be interesting
to see is how the young guys perform against the Mumbai Indians, which has a
rather strong batting line-up and includes three youngsters of their own.
Shane Warne may look to change a few thing s around for sure, and one of them
would probably be to get in an extra bowler in place of Adam Voges. Whilst it
is good to have the buffer of an extra batsman, some times that part-time bowler
can go for a lot of runs, and make things miserable for the captain. So, Morne Morkel should be back in action against the Mumbai Indians.
