 At last Kolkata Knight Riders have brought something to smile for their fans.
They won convincingly against Royal challengers Bangalore. Their next encounter
will be against table topper Warriors. It starts at 20:00 IST or 14:30 in Bengaluru,
October 1.

KKR have been under-performing throughout the tournament. Their batsmen and bowlers
seem a little bit rusty both in qualifying and in main round of the tournament.
As a result they lose two of their first two matches. They were on the verge of
elimination. They had to win their last match against RCB with a lot o f lot advantage
they did win the match convincingly as they beat RCB by 9 wickets with 15 balls
remaining.
This result keeps them alive for the next phase. So, when they will meet Warriors
they have to perform once again like they did against RCB. They made a change
dropping Shakib Al Hasan and giving Brad Haddin a chance and this change
proved a perfect decision for them while Haddin scoring vital 42 runs opening
with Kallis.
KKR's top orders were a real flop but they clicked and brought a win for them.
Once again they have to do something special against Warriors as their opponent
is a real killer. But their problem with bowling continues. Not a single match
they have restricted their opponent to a small total.
They might drop Shami Ahmed who has been picked for their match against RCB but
he was too expensive. If they do the same ordinary bowling against Warriors then
inform JJ Smuts, Prince and Boucer will not show any mercy.
On the other hand, Warriors must be thinking about securing their semi-final
spot. They are the now the most promising team of Champions League Twenty20
2011. They have been doing well both in batting and bowling departments. But
their main power is their batting.
Warriors start every match very well and take the match away from their opponent
as early as possible. Their openers JJ Smuts and Prince will be the real threat
for Brett Lee and other pace attacks. They have all rounder like Botha
and Boje who can be destructive coming at the later part of the innings.
Clever bowler like Tsotsobe and spin attack like Botha and Boje will be a real
threat for KKR batsmen on the subcontinent track.
If Kolkata Knight Riders want to win the match then they have to go
to field with a determination that they will play a calculative innings like
they did against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
They got rid of Gayle giving Kallis a chance to bowl early in the innings and
now they must keep their head cool and play like a professional team to defeat
the Warriors and become the real Warriors. Should be a good, exciting game.
