The two bottom placed teams in the competition so far, Rajasthan Royals and the
Kings XI Punjab will take on each other in the 19th match of the tournament.
The Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab have both won one game out four, and
will play the game at Mohali.
The good thing about the game is that it will allow one of the two teams to
win their second game in a row. The not so good thing is that the other team
will have their momentum arrested after both had performed rather well in the
previous match. The Rajasthan Royals had managed to easily beat the Kolkata
Knight Riders, whereas the Kings XI Punjab had first comeback from behind, got
the match to tie and then, managed to win it in the Super Over.

importance of such an encounter and a loss could end their immediate hopes of
doing well. The Punjab side will be happier given that they have had Yuvraj Singh coming back into form, something that they desperately needed. Yuvraj
Singh is too good a player to miss out on scoring runs given his ability to
easily clear the ground, but he needed some time out there. Now that he has
got it, he will probably need to repay his coach and captains faith and
deliver the goods.
Talking from the battings point of view, it was a surprise to see Irfan Pathan walk out at the top of the order, but then he did perform well in
the both the games, a fifty against the Chargers and this knock that ensured
that Punjab got to the total that they finally managed.
It was the bowling of Juan Theron that will be spoken about in both,
the main game and the Super Over. Theron came into the side as their only viable
last option to try and see if he could do anything, but he did more than his
bit and won his side the game. Theron also won the man of the match for his
fine effort.
However, against Rajasthan, one feels that Theron may be read much better as
the surprise factor would be missing. His pace, his lines and his lengths would
have been picked up well by Rajasthan and it will be interesting to see what
plans do Rajasthan have in place for the Proteas bowler.
