Mumbai Indians take on New South Wales in their last game of the league stage
of the Champions League T20 on Sunday.
Rain forced Mumbai Indians to split their points with Cape Cobras. So, Mumbai
Indians have to wait for one more game to seal their place in the semi final
and they will be facing New South Wales Blues in Chennai, October 2 at

It will be their fourth and final match to get a ticket for the semi final round
while NSW still have one match left.
To be honest Mumbai Indians have been playing beyond everybody's expectation
as they are missing a lot of key players both in batting and bowling departments.
They got two win in their first two matches and their third match against Cape
Cobras they put up a very good total but rain did not permit them to continue
their nonstop winning journey.
They did suffer in their batting in first two matches but in the last match
they batted extremely well. They gave a chance to Kanwar to open the innings
and he did not disappoint them scoring 45 runs very quickly hitting five sixes
and three fours. But the real player was Pollard. He scored 58 runs smashing
some huge sixes at the death end of the game. Mumbai Indians' bowling has been
impressive like always. Lasith Malinga has been doing well as expected.
He will be leading once again against NSW while other should be following him.
For NSW, it is their third match. They have one lose and one win. So, they
will be desperate to secure their place for the semi final. They were beaten
brutally in their opening match against venomous Cape Cobras but NSW played
well and snatched a win against T&T in the super over. They will be mostly
dependent on opener David Warner and Shane Watson. These two guys have
to do something special to stop monstrous Mumbai Indians. They showed what they
are capable of in their second match.
To stop Mumbai Indians when they are in mood of winning is very tough. Winning
has become a habit for Mumbai Indians for a long time. They are missing some
players but their team spirit has increased did not decreased at all. Either David Warner or Shane Watson has to play an extra ordinary innings to
stop Mumbai Indians or Mumbai Indians need a bad day.
