The Kiwis, five time World Cup semifinalists, started their warm up for this
tournament by thrashing minnows Ireland in Nagpur. However their lack of depth
in bowling was cruelly exposed by India, who sent the Black Caps on a leather

Doubts have been raised over whether or not John Wright's men can match their
2007 World Cup performance, especially in light of the recent 5-0 pasting they
