Pakistan will look to complete a 5-0 rout over Zimbabwe
when the fifth one dayer gets underway in Sheikhupura in three days time. Pakistan
have taken a 4-0 lead in a horribly one sided Mobilink cup and will be looking
to finish the demotion over a hapless Zimbabwe outfit in the fifth one dayer.

Pakistan have selected youth over experience for this series
and the move of selecting youngsters like Kamran Hussain, Nasir Jamshed
has paid rich dividends as a young Pakistan lineup have milked an inexperienced
Zimbabwean bowling attack for a massive scores throughout the series.. Nasir
Jamshed in particular has impressed one and all with his wonderful stroke play
and is stalking a claim to replace Salman Butt for the opener's position in
the matches to come. Pakistan easily won the fourth match by successfully
hauling down Zimbabwe's target of 244. Mohammad Yousuf starred with a
blemish less century while skipper Sohaib Malik capped off the match with a
fine unbeaten innings of 88 to go with his 3/55 earlier during Zimbabwe's innings.
A rout over Zimbabwe will go a long way in restoring Pakistan's confidence after
some torrid times in recent months against India and South Africa and on current
form, it would take a brave man indeed to bet against them doing it.
Zimbabwe will be hoping to end the series with some respectability after some
poor performances in the past few matches. However, the African side will take
heart from some good batting performances through the series and in truth, a
4-0 lead to Pakistan is not a true reflection of Zimbabwe's performances this
series. Zimbabwe have struck early in most matches and will be ruing missed
opportunities in different junctures of this series. Zimbabwe are presently
fighting for test status and will be hoping that a good performances against
Pakistan in the final ODI will help them put up a cause for test inclusion.
