battle of five ODIs. The teams are gearing up for World Cup so every single
game is important. Teams would want to work on flaws and administrators would
monitor everything closely as no one wants to go to the most prestigious event

Pakistan, the "home" team on this series will definitely attract large
amount of support as they did in the T20 series. Pakistan's constant worry is
batting as they crumbled for a meek 119 in the first T20. Many of the batsmen
are out of touch and shape even after coming from a domestic T20 cup. Misbah
ul Haq, the man to lead them in Tests seems to be getting into shape as it would
be a relief.
Another boost may come in the form of Younis Khan, who after a long

Collin Ingram and Miller are two cool headed youngsters who blend in well
with the experience of Duminy, de Villiers, Smith and Amla. Jacques Kallis
and Dale Steyn remain doubtful for the ODI series while Morne Morkel after impressing
in the T20 will mark his return. Graeme Smith will continue to lead his side
in ODIs after resigning from T20 captaincy. South African batting it seems would
make most of a good Abu Dhabi batting track. This series has a huge importance
to South Africa, as the climatic conditions are similar to sub continent
where the World Cup will be played.
