The awesome Aussies defeated their arch rival South Africa by five wickets
in the inaugural match of the Australia's tour of South Africa. Their second and
final Twenty20I encounter will be played in October 16 at 18:00 GMT.
Batting first the home side put up a competitive total of146 runs losing seven
wickets on a pretty good batting track. Their openers failed, Ingram and JP
Duminy took the anchor role scoring 33 and 67 runs respectively. But it was
not enough even against the new Australian side. They reached home with 3balls
to spare with the help of a fabulous fifty from their power house Shane Watson.

To win the next encounter the home South African side must bat a lot better than
their previous match where they were literally rusty as they have not played any
international match since their departure from the World Cup, once again with
a choker tag.
They missed a few chances while fielding which is very unlikely performance from
them. They should be more calculative in the batting because a moderate score
will never be enough for them against Australia.
Australian have such a batting line up like Shane Watson, David Warner,
David Hussy who can even score quick runs taking risks regularly. Hashim
Amla has to think a lot to get a win in his debut series.
On the other hand, Australia played professional cricket; they were
a lot better than their opponent. It looked they have done their homework very
well. Now they have the upper hand, they have understood the formula to succeed.
Even their second youngest player in any format of the game; debutant Cummins
got 3 wickets while South Africa looked to get a big total; he snatched the match
away from them.
So, his inclusion by the newly appointed coach Troy Colley was a perfect decision.
Like Cummins all Aussies looked in a good shape in the game.
Australia must start the game as favourites as the South African side failed
to exploit their home advantage. Their guru Gary Kirsten must betrying
desperately to get a win and make it 1-1 to escape from a humiliation from the
vibrant tourists and get something to cheer before the ODIs.
