South Africa sealed the series, taking uncatchable 2-0 lead winning the last
game Potchefstroom with 11 overs to spare.
As far as the results are concerned there have been no surprises. South Africa have shown their dominance by winning all T20 games and now winning
two out of two ODIs. The game on 22nd October in Benoni can produce different
result because Zimbabwe are after all an unpredictable team. Batting wicket
is expected in Benoni. This series in South Africa has been a party for batsmen
of both the teams.

in the series so far. South African batting looks a powerfully built unit. Graeme Smith, JP Duminy, AB de Villiers, and Colin Ingram have looked on top of
their game while Hashim Amla has cracked two centuries in two games. Batting
is South Africa's strength which they would look up to in the series against
Pakistan starting in Dubai later this month. Bowling however remains a worry
for South Africa. Captain Graeme Smith admitted that his bowlers will need to
improve their game if want this continuity against bigger sides. In the midst
of bowling woes, South Africa would welcome Rusty Theron who has taken
eight wickets in two ODIs he has played, including an impressive show in the
last outing taking five for 44.
Charl Langeveldt was given an opportunity and performed reasonably well with
figures of two for 49. Tsotsobe and Wayne Parnell were not impressive as they
would look to put up a decent performance on Friday to top a forgettable series.

Zimbabwean Captain Tatenda Taibu insisted that his side will remain positive
and are eager to win the final ODI against South Africa on 22nd.
Zimbabwean bowling has struggled in unsuitable conditions in the series but
their batting would've given them relief. Grant Flower has had starts
but has not fired yet on his return after six years. Brendon Taylor has been
in great form throughout the tour. Taibu who played a captain's innings of 78
at Potchefstroom will look to repeat his performance. He said that he was disappointed
in not getting to a hundred.
In his remarks Taibu reflected that Zimbabwe despite losing are ready to bounce
back in the final game and show the world their worth. Zimbabwean bowling continues
to be pitiable as no bowler succeeded in making a mark in the last game. Zimbabwe
know that they'll have to show a more resilient bowling display if they want
to win the final on Friday ODI to end series on a high note.
