T&T have won the inaugural match of the tournament so they will be a much
relieved team than Leicestershire Foxes as they can now see the next
level.
If they can win their match again Leicestershire then they will be automatically
in the next level of the tournament. T&T bowled reasonably well as they
restricted Ruhunu Eleven to 138 runs. Their reply was a little bit shaky as
they lose some wickets but Sherwin Ganga and Darren Bravo made a vital
63 runs partnership.
Sherwin Ganga, the man of the match scored 39 runs only from 15 balls and also
diminished the absence of Kieron Pollard. Leicestershire must be aware
of the strength of T&T. T&T have proven what they can do in the field.
They put so much pressure on Ruhunu Eleven that five of their batsmen got run
out and it is a record in this tournament ever.
Leicestershire do not have any big names in their squad but they have proven at
their home that they play cricket with hard work and passion.
Leicestershire is skippered by former English pace bowler Matthew Hoggard.
They do have pretty good batting side will Jefferson has showed his talent in
the semi final against Lancashire. Their wicket keeper batman Paul Nixon is
also a good batman.
Youngster Josh Cobb is another batsman who can cause a lot of trouble for T&T.
Leicestershire's bowling is lead by Hoggard but he must be careful of the T&T
batting line up who have shown their survival instinct even after some early wicket
loss. Andrew Mc Donald and 39 year-old left arm spinner Claude William Henderson
might also be proven instrumental for the encounter.
Many cricket crazy fans will certainly be waiting for this match. If T&T win
they will certainly go through and Leicestershire will be trying hard and soul
to beat the Caribbean team to book a place for them in the next round. If T&T
can handle the pressure like their first match then it will be difficult for Leicestershire
to stop T&T from going to the next level.
