New Zealand will be hoping to avert any more upsets as they
attempt to secure a series in against England in the fifth one dayer to be played
this Sunday. New Zealand are leading the series 2-1 and with England
coming right back into it after a dismal start, the platform looks to have been
set for a marvelous finish to the One Day Series.

England were rather lucky to put out a draw last time around when a fantastic
century from Jamie How gave New Zealand the upper hand in the third one dayer.
However, an inspired last over by Luke Wright changed the whole complexion of
the match and brought England a highly respectable draw in one of the finest
cricket matches in the past one year. England have improved with respect to
batting and will be even happier with the performances put up by the likes of
Phil Mustard who has performed admirably in the place of Matt Prior. England
posted up 340 in a freak match last time around and with the top six all amongst
runs in the last few matches, Paul Collingwood would go into this clash reasonably
confident of putting up a fine display.
New Zealand on the other hand would be distraught after passing
up on a gilt edged chance to go three one up in the series. Jamie How was the
standout performer with a brilliant 139 before he was tragically run out by
James Anderson and his dismissal brought up a mini collapse at the end which
shifted the focus from a win to a tie for new Zealand. However, the Black Caps
still hold the lead 2-1 and whatever be the outcome of this match, the Kiwis
would come out of the series with their heads held high. New Zealand
are expected to go in with the same batting line up that troubled England last
time around although Kyle Mills is a doubt in the bowling department with a
late injury. England have not been beaten to a series in One Dayers over the
past one year and New Zealand will be break that when they host England this
coming Saturday 23rd February in Christchurch
