his leg in his innings of fifty four in the second test match and the West Indies
now face the probability of facing the remaining three match without their top
three batsmen in Chris Gayle, Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan
and captain Dwayne Bravo will be hoping for some respite from a South
African bowling attack that has been top notch all summer.
On the other hand, things are bright indeed from the South
African perspective as the Proteas have delivered with ball and bat in the last
matches. Jimmy Duminy looks a real find for the South Africans and he has been
instrumental in setting up South African victories with two excellent innings
so far. Shaun Pollock who will be playing his last cricket series was
sensational in his five maiden ten over spell at Newlands on Friday and South
Africa will be hoping to give the veteran a fitting send off with a crushing
victory against the West Indies this Sunday.
