 The first T20I of the two-match T20I series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan
will be played at Harare Sports Club in Harare on Friday, September 16 at 17:30
IST or 12:00 GMT. Pakistan have already won the one off Test match and three-match
ODI series.
In fact after the first two days of the one-off Test match where the Pakistani
bowling was plundered and it looked like Zimbabwe may escape with a draw, they
have done well to not only win that game but also the three ODIs.

Now it is time for T20I. There will be two T20I match and the first one will be
very vital because the team which win the first match will get the momentum and
certainly they will not lose the series.
Pakistan
Pakistan team is now full swing. They played ODIs and Test so well that it
would be and mammoth task to beat them. Moreover, Pakistan have always been
a superb performer in this format of the game. They reached two finals in T20I
World Cup and won one of them. Their batsmen are beautifully suited to this
format especially their skipper Misbah ul Haq and their bowlers are also
good especially Sohail Tanvir who is and proven performer for this format.
Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe also have some good batsmen and bowlers but if they want to win the game
they must perform extremely well in batting and bowling department and fielding
is also crucial because mighty Pakistan have proven that they are very successful
against Zimbabwe throughout the tournament .
Their skipper Brendan Taylor, Hamilton Maskadza, Vusi Sibanda, Tatenda Taibu must contribute some runs to get a win against Pakistan and their
bowling has to be more attacking too. The problem for their batting is that
they have not been getting the runs together - there is one or the other who
gets the runs but they need more contributions in a single innings.
It is T20I so anything can happen. Some marked this format of the cricket as
a lottery. Zimbabwe will be desperately looking to win the match to achieve
some pride for themselves. On the other hand Pakistan have already got the momentum
so it will be extremely difficult to stop them because they are now in full
flow.
Pakistan should go into the game as favourites to win their fourth game on tour.
