The mighty Australians beat England by a huge margin to win the third cricket
Test and regain the Ashes after taking an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series
on Monday.
Australia wrapped up another convincing victory with
the second ball after lunch on the final day when Shane Warne bowled
Monty Panesar to dismiss England for 350, they added.
Kevin Pietersen finished 60 not out while Warne took
4 for 115 to reach 699 Test scalps.
The win wraps up the five-Test series 3-0 and sees Ricky Ponting's
men regain the urn they lost to England only last year. England's Ashes reign
was the shortest in history.
England skipper Andrew Flintoff admitted England had
been beaten by the better side.
Australia had also won the first and the second Test at Brisbane
and Adelaide respectively.
It is learnt that England beat Australia 2-1 at home last year
to win the Ashes for the first time since 1989.
