Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly's return to international cricket was today
celebrated with the launch of journalist Debashish Dutta's new book charting
Dada's career.
The book contains scores of pictures throughout Sourav Ganguly's career.
In fact, Debashish Dutta has also added another nickname for the Prince
of Kolkata by terming him the Maharaja of Cricket.
"No one can question Sourav's passion for cricket, especially when he
wears the colours for the country. It is a passion that the Indian team needs
in the coming months. The country is depending on him to give the team the start
it needs to bring back the world cup," said Sunil Gavaskar,
who was present for the release of the book.
Besides photographs and statistics about Sourav's cricket career, the book
also dips into his personal life, especially his relationship with his daughter
Sana.
"I have not gone through the book but the best picture I think is me with
my daughter Sana. I will take the book to the West Indies," said
Sourav Ganguly.
