Indian wicketkeeper batsman, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, today dismissed media reports
which claimed about his 'imminent wedding' soon after the World Cup.
"I am greatly amused at the media speculation about my
marriage. In fact, I am waiting that some day the media may hand me an invitation
for my own wedding," a smiling Dhoni quipped to a poser that his 'janam
kundali (birth almanac)' predicts his marriage soon after the big cricketing
show of the year.
Dhoni was talking to the media on Sunday after meeting Jharkhand
Chief Minister Madhu Koda at his residence.
Earlier, Dhoni performed a special puja in the Tamar's Devri temple, 50 km away
from Ranchi in Jharkhand.
The wicketkeeper-batsman has recently moved up to second place
in the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen.
"I bat at a flexible order. All I hope is that I am able to do well,"
he said.
