The national selectors today announced Indian squad for the forthcoming ODI
series against Sri Lanka beginning on February 8 .
Out of form opener Virender Sehwag and Munaf Patel
have been recalled for the first two one dayers. Gautam Gambhir, Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina and Romesh Powar were dropped from the
15-members squad.
The BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah announced the
team here today after the selection committee meeting.
The 15-member squad: Rahul Dravid (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Sourav Ganguly,
Dinesh Kaarthick, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Anil Kumble,
Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth and Munaf Patel.
The first ODI will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata
on February 8.
