This Tuesday will see Mexico play Uruguay in a Group A 2010 World Cup game
at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg. This will be the final game of the
group for both teams. Uruguay and Mexico now top the group so it will be interesting
to see what will happen when they go up against one another. This is going to
be an exciting game to watch with us here on action8football.com; the home of
great live streaming football during the World Cup.
Uruguay have four points in Group A following a goalless draw against France and
a win against South Africa. There last encounter was against the hosts and they
managed to win with a goal-fest; final score 0-3. A draw or a win against Mexico
will be enough to take them through to the next stage of the competition. Playing
for a draw is never a good idea so expect Mexico to approach this game
with a win firmly in mind.
Mexico also have four points in Group A. Their first game was against South Africa
and this ended with a 1-1 final score. Mexico next played France and managed an
impressive 0-2 win with goals from Javier Hernandez and Cuauhtemoc Blanco. Mexico
are in a similar position as Uruguay in that they know that all they need
from this next game is a draw. This is unlikely to satisfy them though, so expect
some attacking football.
Group A is nearly over and all eyes will be on this game between Mexico and Uruguay.
A win by either team could open the door for France or South Africa to progress
to the next round. This has been an interesting group to watch and we can't wait
to see how it all ends. Make sure that you don't miss out by joining us here on
