South Africa has called left-arm spinner Paul Harris in their squad for
the remaining two Tests against India after facing a 123-run defeat in the first
Test at the Wanderers Stadium on Monday.
Harris, 28, played for English county Warwickshire this year as a Kolpak player,
which meant renouncing his availability to play for South Africa.
Titans all rounder Morne Morkel has been placed on standby for the injured
Dale Steyn.
Convenor of the national selection committee Haroon Lorgat said after
SA's 123 run defeat by India in the first Test at the Wanderers that Harris
had been called up to replace Nicky Boje, who retired from international
cricket two days before the Test.
