Host South Africa has won the toss and elected to bat
first in the second Test which begins at Kingsmead today, while riding high
on the success in the first Test after posting a historic win India has fielded
an unchanged squad for this Test, sources said.
Earlier, Indian skipper Rahul Dravid favoured his openers
Virender Sehwag and Wasim Jaffer after a decision was taken by
the team management to send young pacer Irfan Pathan back home to find back
his line and length in domestic cricket.
The Proteas, on the other hand, have dropped Kallis from the team and will
make an all out effort to level the Test series.
