The Indians have failed to get out of the blocks when it came to their turn to
bat in the series against South Africa with master batsman Sachin Tendulkar
struggling for runs.
The poor form of Sachin Tendulkar has put enormous pressure
on the rest of the young and inexperienced batsmen and has disappointed millions
of fans back home.
With other batsmen like Ricky Ponting and Lara catching
up and getting better with age, the Bombay Bomber is facing severe criticism
from all corners.
The Australian captain surpassed his predecessor Stephen Rodger
Waugh's Australian record of 32 Test hundreds and to move into the ranks
of cricket's top four century-makers along with Sachin Tendulkar (35), Brian
Lara and Sunil Gavaskar (both 34).
