Indian captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to field against Scotland
in the one-off cricket one-day international here today.
India rested key players Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly
and Zaheer Khan besides leaving out Rohit Sharma.
Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Ramesh Powar
who warmed the bench during the Test series against England, got a look in while
Robin Uthappa, Ajit Agarkar and Munaf Patel who were not part of the
Test squad also were included.
India beat England 1-0 in the three-Test series and are to
play seven one-day internationals from August 21.
