India's historic win at the Twenty20 World Cup had not imposed any pressure on
the team which has worked out a strategy to take on the Aussies to fight "fire
with fire" in the coming ODI series, Robin Uthappa, part of the victorious
team, said today.
"The pressure is not on us. We have done exceedingly well," he told
the media during the launch of Neo Sports Video on Demand and Live Streaming Service.
He said the team was "raring to go" against the Aussies in the one-day
series commencing from September 29.
"We have worked out a strategy to take on the Aussies. We will fight fire
with fire," he said.
To a question that he appeared to struggle towards the latter
half of the 20-20 tournament, Uthappa said: "No, I don't think I was struggling.
I was trying my best to contribute to the game in any possible way I could."
India's ace seamer Zaheer Khan, who missed the Twenty20 World Cup due
to an injury, said: "The break was critical for me. The break has gone
on well. I have done a lot of work during the break. I am looking forward to
the coming series. It is important to start the series on a good note.
