Ace off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that India's Twenty20 World Cup
victory is the best cricketing experience of his career so far.
Harbhajan said India's T20 world title triumph would now make the game more popular
in the country.
"I could not ask to be part of anything better. The game is going to be
a big hit in India now. The reception we got back home was unbelievable.
"From the airport to the Wankhede stadium usually takes 45 minutes but
we were on the open bus and it took us about five-and-a-half hours to get there!
That was probably the best day in my cricketing life," Harbhajan told the
November issue of The Wisden Cricketer magazine.
The Turbanator hoped that his impressive performance would
help him get back his berth in India's Test squad.
"I am excited to be back and happy to be back where I deserve to be I
have done enough for my country to be here, I feel great to be able to represent
my country and very happy about returning to the side.
"It's only a matter of time before I get looked at for the Tests. I am
a much better bowler now having spent so much time with Surrey and I have played
well," he said.
