The start of the second cricket Test match between India and England has been delayed due to a wet outfield caused by overnight rain here.
The two umpires, Simon Taufel and Ian Howell, will inspect the ground at 1130 hrs local time (1600 hrs IST) before taking a decision on start of play.

After two days of rain, the sun has broken out since morning and the groundsmen were seen mopping up the outfield using four super-soppers.
