Zimbabwe need 116 runs off the last over now. This is going to be a disappointing loss for them at the very start of the series.

This was always going to be the result of the game after the Pakistanis succeeded in posting a mammoth total on the board. The Zimbabweans started off making a blunder right at the start by electing to bowl first on a pitch which looked to be a batting paradise. The Pakistanis made full use of it and scored heavily thanks to the collective efforts of the debutant Jamshed, Younis, Yousuf, skipper Malik and Misbah. It was always going to be a steep challenge but the visitors responded well with a great start courtesy Sibanda. He fell right after his fifty and Chibhabha played well to provide solidity in the middle. The middle order didn''t contribute much and once the wickets started to fall, the asking rate started to rise every passing moment.
