Tillakaratne Dilshan is the Man of the Match for his match winning knock of 63 runs off just 59 balls which saw Sri Lanka home in this rain affected affair.

Cannot really blame the Indians for what happened. The Lankans got a bit of an advantage with this turning out into a virtual Twenty20 affair and 154 is never a very good total in a T20. The Indian batsmen did a decent job in scoring 195 in 29 overs after being inserted but the revised total was just not enough to defend. The start that Jayasuriya gave was fantastic and really set up the run chase for Sri Lanka. Dilshan played a matured innings and made sure that there were no hiccups in the Lankan innings. What this win has done is that the series is now thrown wide open and the next match calls for some exciting cricket. It is Australia versus Sri Lanka at Perth in two days time.
