After crashing out of the World cup in the first round courtesy a shocking loss to Ireland, they roared back into form with some splendid showing in the ICC 20-20 championships only to lose narrowly to India in the finals.However,the last two months has seen Pakistan cricket move the wrong side of progress. They lost the one-day series to South Africa at home and India away 3-2 and the state of Pakistan test cricket isn't that great either as they lost home and away 1-0 to both South Africa and India. However, the side is still not short of potential and a mixture of youthful fast bowlers coupled with some aggressive hitters on top of the order should see Pakistan cricket through to much more brighter times.
