It is the Grand Finale where the top two teams will be meeting each other for
the last time in Champions League Twenty20 2011, for the glory of achieving the
championship crown .These top two teams are the two IPL teams Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. The match gets underway on Sunday, October 9
at 20:00 IST or 14:30 GMT in Chennai.
Royal Challengers Bangalore got to the final first. Their road to the final was
not easy at all. Once they were below in the point table as they lost their first
two matches, then they played three incredible matches in a row.

First of them was against Somerset CCC where they beat their opponent by 51 runs,
second of them was undoubtedly one of the best games anybody has ever seen where
they won in the last ball of the innings hitting over boundary, chasing enormous
215 runs. This back to back win led them to the semi final.
The semi-final was another thriller. Their opponent was New South Wales. Their
opener David Warner hammered another century hitting 11 sixes. The target was
204 runs and RCB achieved that one as well. Their opponent Mumbai Indians must
be scared as RCB has been playing cricket as if they were from another planet.
RCB's opponent has been getting more than 200 runs so their bowlers are not doing
well we could say that, but their batsmen are doing almost impossible things over
and over again. This would be the one and only threat for their opponent. Their
opponent must come up with an exceptional idea to stop the destruction of Gayle-
storm, stylish Dilshan and Virat Kohli.
Harbhajan Singh did come up with an exceptional idea in the semi final giving
the ball to James Franklin instead of bowling himself. If they can control
these three, it is very likely that they will be enjoying holding the cup after
the match; otherwise they have to be the spectators.
Mumbai Indians must be an eligible contender for the crown. Their road to the
final was not easy either. In fact, they started their tournament without their
some key players like batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma,
Strike bowler Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel.
So, everybody kept them out of the competition, but they proved everybody wrong
and finally made it to the final with RCB. In the semi final they met Somerset
CCC and beat them comprehensively. Mumbai Indians must rely on Malinga and Harbhajan Singh to beat RCB and their batting must be upgraded as they have not put
up any huge total yet in Champions League Twenty20 2011. They are getting one
day less than RCB for preparation as well.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have been playing cricket like never before any
team did in Champions League. They seem different as they have been proven
themselves literally unbeatable over the past few matches.
So, it is expected to be a gigantic task for their opponent Mumbai Indians
to stop RCB having the taste of the Championship for the first time in any competition.
But one thing is for sure, whoever win one IPL team will definitely get the
total price 6 million dollar.
