The fifth season of the Indian Premier League continues with one match
on Saturday, to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Pune Warriors.
With the points table evenly balanced at the moment, both teams will be eyeing
another win to stake their claim in the top four further.
Chennai Super Kings got home in one of the most exhilarating matches this season,
as they won off the final ball of the innings. Chasing a mammoth 206 to win, Chennai
looked out of contention needing 43 off the last two overs.

But Albie Morkel turned it around with 28 runs off seven balls, and will be
a major threat to the opposition. The team has several other star performers,
including MS Dhoni and Faf du Plessis who both scored freely in the last match.
Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja can turn a game on their own as well
while Doug Bollinger was the impressive bowler in the last match.
Chennai will enter the match with an upper hand as a result, having such superstar
power.
Pune Warriors have two wins from three matches with their last match ending in
a defeat for them. Their batting collapsed against Dimitri Mascarenhas' seemingly
innocuous medium-pace bowling.
With twice batting causing trouble in three matches, captain Sourav Ganguly
will need to work out a strategy to overcome the weakness. Jesse Ryder, Angelo
Mathews and Marlon Samuels' presence means it can be improved but rather a topic
of sticking to their guns and doing the job right.
Callum Ferguson and Steven Smith are the Australian names in the squad
who are yet to do full justice to the talent they possess. With the ball, Ashok
Dinda and Ashish Nehra still hold the key in a line-up that does not boast of
big names similar to their opposition has.
